On-site Interlibrary Loans

Being a member of National International Library Loan Association, the Library has done more efforts to achieve on-site agreements with libraries in the neighborhood and libraries in every areas in Taiwan as well. Any YZU users can make use of the on-site borrowing cards to borrow books from the library near he lives during long vacations.

Step by Step Guide

	Procedures	Related Notes
Step.1	Check-out the borrowing card at the Circulation Desk.	For YUZ faculty, staff and students only. ID card is required for check-out the borrowing card.
Step.2	Go with the borrowing card to any member libraries for loans.	Borrowers are asked to borrow and return in person.
Step.3	Return the loaned books timely.	Borrowers are asked to abide by the interlibrary loan regulations of the member libraries and pay for the fees in case of overdue or other violations. Any violation during interlibrary loans will cause privilege suspending in YUZ Library simultaneously until the violation dissolved.
Step.4	Return the borrowing card to YZU Library.	The borrowing card is circulated as an book item. Borrowers are responsible for any damage, missing or overdue according to the Circulation Policies.

[*] No renewals and reserves are provided by member libraries. Overdue fees for loaned books are charged according to the regulations of member libraries [**]：Taoyuan Library Consortium was hosted by Yuan Ze University and established in 1998 to enhance regional library resource sharing.  So far, six college/university are sharing book loans, photocopying services reciprocally. Other members are National Defense University,  Chung Yuan University, Chang Gung University, National College of Physical Education and Sports, and National Central Police University. [***]Northern Consortium is hosted by National Defense University and started in 2003. The other members, located in Northern Taiwan, are National Central University, National Central Police University, Chung Yuan University, Chang Gung University, Ming Chuan University, National College of Physical Education and Sports, Fu Jen Catholic University, Shih Hsin University, Ching Yuan Institute of Technology, Van Nung Institute of Technology, and Lung Hwa University of Science of Technology, Ming-Chi University of Technology, Hufan University, Nanya institute of Technology, Kainan University, St. John's University, Yuan Ze University .
